Sonographers have the highest injury rate of any health care workers. The Sonographers Council has provided injury prevention classes that enable members to address this issue in the workplace. At Kaiser Permanente delegates have been successful in establishing labor management committees on injury prevention, ergonomic standards, and equipment purchasing.
